On November, 30th, 1927 company Bosh has begun a batch production of fuel pumps of a high pressure and diesel atomizers. The company for the first time has offered manufacturers of motors the systems of injection which have opened opportunities of profitable manufacture of small diesel motors for lorries, buses, and in the further and for cars.

 In March, 1927 the sanction to piece manufacture of Diesel Fuel Injection Pumps has been received.

Diesel Fuel Injection Pump of series VP-44 was sold first in 1996, and was the first  electronic pump with the valve of high preasure which serves for the exakt supply of fuel in every cylinder.

The basic unit of fuel system of a diesel engine is the fuel pump of a high pressure. Its main functions – forcing of fuel in atomizers in sharply dosed out quantity and maintenance of the necessary moment of the beginning of injection (it is defined by a corner of an advancing of injection by analogy to a corner of an advancing of ignition at petrol engines).  Such Diesel Fuel Injection Pump is put in action a power shaft. On the power shaft is transferred the twisting moment directly from a cranked shaft of the engine. The design of the mechanism of transfer depends on a design of the motor, and synchronism of rotation of shaft of a diesel engine and Diesel Fuel Injection  Pump is provided with use of a drive with gearing – a roller circuit, gear wheel, a gear belt or gear sleeve.
